Branko Tadic
Chess Grandmaster
Born on October 4, 1973, in Belgrade. Her love for the game came from watching her father play with friends every day. Of the individual results, the first place of the Serbian Open Championship in 2006 stands out, and among the team, the first place in the First League of Serbia in 2010 and the Serbian Cup in 2011 with the team of the chess club "Smederevo".
He won the title of Grandmaster in 2010. He started his coaching career in 2001, and since 2014 he has been one of the selectors of the Cadet National team of Serbia. As a coach, he contributed to the numerous successes of his students, and today the club competes at the team level in the Quality League of Belgrade (the third league in Serbia).
He coached Milos Stankovic, the International Chess Master and Cadet Champion of Serbia, Aleksandar Indjic, Grandmaster, Youth Champion of Serbia, Senior Champion of Serbia, and member of the Serbian national team. He also coached Bogdan Nonkovic, National Master and Cadet and Youth Champion of Serbia, Lazar Lekic, Cadet and Youth Champion of Montenegro, as well as Cadet Champions of Serbia, Lazar Radusinovic, Aleksandar Markovic, Nenad Todorovic, Mladen Rajkovic, Mihajlo Radovanovic, Stefan Tadic, and Ana Tadic.
He is the holder of the highest coaching title in the field of chess FST, ("FIDE Senior Coach"). Selector of the Senior National Team of Serbia in 2017.
He is the editor-in-chief of the prestigious "Chess Informant" and the author and co-author of several books and informants on the same topic, including:
- "Encyclopedia of Chess Combinations"
- "Encyclopedia of Chess Miniatures" and
- "Encyclopedia of Chess Openings".
